Take some of the work out of remodeling your basement by covering your existing 3 in. or 3-1/2 in. Dia support columns with this Oak 12 in. x 8 ft. Wrap. Quick and easy to install. A very attractive alternative to the tedious process of building a box around your unfinished columns. This Wrap has pre-sanded 1/2 in.
Wide panels of premium red oak bonded to a flexible backing. Bring out the rich natural wood beauty by simply finishing with two coats of polyurethane. Oak Cap and Base trim (sold separately) can be added to complete the look of a classic fluted column.

I bought this 2 years ago and finally got it installed. It was more difficult than most because I had a square plate at the bottom of the pole I had to cover. After reviewing numerous possible options I decided to try and use the left overs from the wrap that was excess I had cut off from the height. I stained it before putting on the pole, then touched it up afterwards. Would be great if the manufacturer would provide a square base cap as an option although it made be rarely needed. It took me about 1 week because of the square plate at the bottom. The pole had previously had been covered by matching carpeting which began to become loose. I'm glad I found this product though. It's a good solution for Lolly basement poles although you may need to improvise if your pole is anything like mine. I'm over 60 and installed it all by myself. Just be patient and follow the video instructions.
