    Description

This lot contains a Canada first flight cover from October 1, 1928.  It was flown from Montreal to Albany, arriving on the same day; it was then forwarded to Cleveland on a CAM 20 flight, arriving the next day.
    Cover included:
10/1/1928 Montreal cancel on special Luxwood Toledo Airport envelope.  It has the proper green Montreal cachet.  It is listed in the 6th edition of the AAMC as Canada flight 2847; it is also listed in the 6th edition as FAM1-3.  It has the proper Albany backstamp; it has an additional backstamp in Cleveland the next day, indicating it was flown from Albany to Cleveland on a CAM 20 flight.  This special envelop flown on the joint Canada first flight/FAM1 flight plus a CAM 20 flight is quite rare.
Condition is as shown in the pics.  The cover shows minimal toning and has some corner and edge wear.
